This tour includes one night’s lodging in Goris town. We will return to Yerevan from Goris, through the Selim Caravanserai.
Tour programme
Day 1
Yerevan - Arrival - City tour
- Arrival in Armenia, transfer to the hotel.
- A walking sightseeing excursion in the center of the city and an excursion to the district of Kond.
- An excursion to the Sergey Parajanov Museum.
- A wine tasting session at a bar.
The duration of the excursion programme is around 6 hr.
Day 2
Yerevan - Sevan - Dilijan - Sevan
- Departure for the excursion to the northern part of Armenia.
- An excursion to the Sevanavank monastery.
- A lavash baking ritual at the Tsaghkunk restaurant.
- Departure for the town of Dilijan.
The duration of the excursion programme is around 9 hr.
Day 3
Yerevan - Khor Virap - Areni - Noravank - Goris
- Checking out of the hotel, departure for the excursion, traveling to the southern part of Armenia.
- An excursion to the Khor Virap monastery.
- An excursion to the family boutique winer, the Tushpa Wine Cellar, and a wine tasting session there.
- Departure to the winemaking region of Areni.
- An excursion to the Bird Cave, Areni-1.
- A visit to the Noravank monastery.
- Departure for Goris.
- A night’s stay at Goris.
The duration of the excursion programme is around 10 hr.
Day 4
Goris - Tatev - Khndzoresk - Selim - Noratus - Yerevan
- Checking out of the hotel, departure for the excursion to the Tatev monastery.
- A visit to the cave town of Khndzoresk.
- Traveling to Yerevan through the Selim Caravanserai.
- On the way, we will stop to visit the Mikaelyan Cheese Factory, a family business.
- Return to Yerevan, checking into the hotel.
The duration of the excursion programme is around 10 hr.
Day 5
Yerevan - Amberd - Aragats - Yerevan
- Departure for the excursion.
- A visit to the Amberd fortress.
- An excursion to the stone lake on the slope of Mount Aragats.
- Departure to the National Folk Theater in Byurakan village and the snail farm.
Day 6
Yerevan - Garni - Geghard - Yerevan
- Departure for the excursion.
- Traveling to the cave monastery of Geghard.
- An excursion to the Garni temple.
- Return to Yerevan.
Day 7
Yerevan - Gyumri - Yerevan
- Departure for the excursion.
- Traveling to the cultural capital of Armenia, the town of Gyumri.
- On the way, we will visit the Dashtadem fortress.
- A walking sightseeing excursion in Gyumri.
- Return to Yerevan.
Day 8
Check-out - transfer to the airport
- Checking out of the hotel.
- Transfer to the airport.
