Our food is prepared using not only one`s imagination but also having one`s soul in it, and you can taste it in any restaurant in Yerevan and other cities of Armenia.
Armenian wine received gold awards at Decanter World Wine Awards 2019 in London. This year, 17 Armenian wines took part in the contest. Noa Noah of Areni (Schuler) of 2016 got the gold prize, and silver went to Reserve Areni (Van Ardi) of 2016.
Armenia is considered the cradle of winemaking. The winemaking skills in the country were already developed as far back as 6.000 years ago. This is well documented by archaeological excavations during which autochthone (indigenous) grape stones and dishes were found.
